It gives me life to see Max from the future take the effort to research random shit that comes up but at the same time, i’m a little sad ‘cus that’s usually my job. Oh well, i learned a new thing today either way.

This actually sounds really interesting to me. A chill story about girls just hanging out while the writer gets to talk about something they’re passionate about is right up my alley.
Crap, now i want to get back to my bar story i have on hiatus.

Nice little unexpected learning moment in this episode~
Honestly I’d love to see photos of cats from around the world. [And yes to the album!]

Yuru Camp isn’t exactly slice-of-life. There is a term for where it belongs to (which I forgot the exact word) but it translates to "Healing", I guess.

So, everything….even its slow pace is intentional. The genre that the show belongs (the "healing" genre, supposedly) is not meant for very emotional, comedic or anything that gives you a punch (i.e, feels). It’s meant for kicking back and relaxing, and I completely understand if you aren’t into this….or it might be seen as boring.

Some of the places featured are places I’ve camped in (except for Lake Shibire and Asagiri Highlands…to be fair, camping in Nagano is exhausting for me, since I stay in Tokyo), mostly because the firewood is so cheap (as low as $3 – $5 or sometimes free).
