Season 3 is crazy intense & emotional, let me tell you. I don’t even know how many times my balled my eyes out during this season. Almost all of your questions will be answered in season 3. I saw both the sub and dub version of this season and they were both equally amazing. Hope you’ll enjoy season 3, because it is my favorite season of the show.

Shiggy…is complicated…he’s creepy but he’s not just evil to be evil, he hints at it in this episode with the whole "he can’t save everyone" thing…which is true. I mean look at it, there is this great hero who is Symbol if Peace, Japan has lowest crime rates in the entire world(as far habited world gets ofc) I don’t think it’s spoilers to say that people grew a bit complacent. We saw it from the first episode, how desensitized people have become to trouble and danger. Because All Might and other heroes will come and solve the problem. They will defeat the villain. Heroes in MHA are viewed as infallible. Especially All Might. I mean look at Izuku, he asked, in complete sincerity if All Might ever failed to save someone. Up until now, at least that’s what I think this scene suggests, he never even considered such an option. He wanted to make sure that Shigaraki wasn’t just talking the talk like at USJ. and many people have similar views, even more so since they don’t know AM is getting weaker they think he’s invincible and will always be there.

Shigaraki is definitely scary and tormented. There’s a lot of tgeories about what happened, but I hope we find out soon.
Toga’s backstory was revealed, but Dabi’s is in speculation as well. Involving him, then is the one fan theory that I would like to come true

Not sure if you’re going sub or dub but in my personal opinion sub had more emotional acting. No to discredit the the dub but it feels rushed. Either way can’t wait, shit will hit the fan hard!

I think the movie is worth waiting to watch later. It came it while series 3 was airing and there’s an episode during season 3 used to promote it and ties into it slightly (you’ll know it when you get to it..it’s not subtle?). Plus it’s not ESSENTIAL but there’s bits of the movie that might have a little more impact with the context of the first half of series 3 imho! ?
