Welcome to my Dragon Quest Builders Gameplay – Ep 9 – Town Design or simply Let’s Play Dragon Quest Builders! It’s like Dragon Quest Minecraft! I’m going to be going through the demo of the game to get a feel for what to expect and share the experience I have with you guys. The game takes place in the land of Alefgard where people have forgotten how to build and it’s my job to teach them and rebuild the kingdom!

Generations ago, the realm of Alefgard was plunged into darkness by the terrible and treacherous Dragonlord, ruler of all monsters. Mankind was robbed of the power to build and forced to wander the ruins of their former home, scrounging and scavenging in the dust to survive.

Try putting the shop sign + a chest + a leather sack + the mason’s workstation + fancy light source = the brazier I think qualify here , in one room and see what happens 🙂
ALSO … add Smithing station to it and see what you get .

Why don’t you just check the buildings sub category in the menu and it’ll tell you what you need to know

@Zueljin Gaming:
add one more bed to the Inn to upgrade it,
as for shops you can build:
– Carpenter’s Studio: Carpenter’s workstation, chest, leather sack, shop sign, good light source(but not torch, more like candelabra, or brazier, etc.)
-Blacksmith’s Studio: Mason’s workstation, Smithing station, chest, leather sack, shop sign, good light source
and later you will be able to make:
-Ironmonger’s Studio: Miner’s refiner, Smithing station, chest, leather sack, shop sign, good light source
Also try making arboretum with bench, 5 trees, 5 plants, 5 ivies and light source. It’s worth it 😉

What I’ve read, anything that you build outside the light area will disappear during a boss fight.

Press and hold R1 and L1 at the same time to avoid moving so much while building. You can also do it with R1 and L1 individually. Hope this helps.

Rather than build rooms all around the town, why not build rooms above other rooms? You do have access to stairs and ladders. It’ll allow you to have bigger rooms and more rooms at the same time.

if your house is five block tall , you can build a second floor on the firth block and zooming in won’t be a problem . see your later !

Dont know if this is already known but if the buttons that make you raise and lower the placement of you brick if you hold both buttons you dont have to do the dance moves you makeing ?

When you want to build long walls, for example, just press and hold the button to put the materials on the floor and then just walk back, you’ll build stuff way faster

This might be an odd question, but in the Japanese version of Dragon Quest Builders, you could strip your character down to his or her underwear. Can you still do that in the English version?
