   Budokai 3 & Budokai Tenkaichi 3 were the best DBZ games….

   Raging blast and are Xenoverse is okay

   you’re such a scrub dude, dbz budokai has extended combos. If you press block while holding certain moves, you can perform a charge cancel. For example, with goku, instead of P,P,P,P, E you can do >F, K, K(charge cancel+sidestep behind opponent) K, K, K, K(charge cancel) <K.. >K.. P.. <P, P.. P.. Then finally P, P, P, P, E. The game has fantastic advanced tech and a decent learning curve. Learning the frames of incomplete combos so you don’t get punished is also a big part of playing. You clearly didn’t put time into this.

    There’s block canceling charged moves, and some inputs in a characters string of buttons will be able to be charged. Which if you block cancel fast enough you can start up another string. Infinite World and Budokai 3 add way more strings that in turn can be block canceled.

    Why didn’t just remaster the Budokai trilogy and not just 1 & 3, I know everyone talks about 3 a lot and how its the best but I only played 2 and it’s awesome.

    I thought they didn’t want to add DBZ budakai 2 because of the whole music problem that’s why all the music was changed in budakai and budakai 3 and 2 wasn’t added…

    But… milky cannon is an actual attack name. I’m not sure if it’s in the anime but it’s become a standard for a captain Ginyu move in the games

    In all honesty I find the so called HD Collection insulting: Dimps not involved, Music Replaced, No Budokai 2, No Infinite World (it is part of the Budokai series), Glossy/Shiny B3 Graphics, Cut-Out Scenes from Ultimate Moves in B3. I would so not recommend anyone getting it. I am glad I still have my PS2 with the 4 DBZ Budokai Games (again Infinite World does count).

    Ginyu’s milky cannon comes from the fact that his name is based off of the Japanese word for milk. And the rest of the Ginyu Force being based on other dairy products. Pretty much every character in Dragonball has some food pun related name.

    it’s weird. I’ve out grown DBZ for the most part (I’m more of a Dragonball fan than DBZ fan at this point), but like Degrassi TNG, when I meet a other fan I get into a heated discussion over it and have nostalgia circle jerks.

    Umm actually you could do double digit combos by juggling. Furthermore you could charge certain attacks and cancel into guard which in some cases allowed you to start a new string. This allowed multiple strings to be chain together. Problem was some characters were far better at this then others. Most characters shared 4 to 5 movesets at best and some had horrible strings that would not combo together or were not very safe.
