Redestro’s design is reminiscent of the Joker well a version if the joker, he also reminds me of the joker by basically wanting nothing but chaos, people using their powers to the fullest of their abilities will cause massive amounts of destruction and chaos …which is why he reminds me of the Joker just my opinion though

I feel like Shigaraki story is not completely true, I think AFO is playing him!!!, how could we trust in anything that AFO says, when he is incredibly manipulative?

So destros face thing reminds me of the rorschach test which has something to do with psychology. So maybe the book is being used to brainwash.

I just love how we’re getting an arc soley dedicated to the villains and their training! And I just love how hard Shigaraki is fighting to make Gigan submit to him!! How intense!!! This arc is seriously the best yet!!!!

hey chibi, do you think its possible that if the league of villains and Shigaraki somehow beat the meta liberation army, do you think they’ll somehow make them his subordinates or they secretly take over the organization without the liberation army realizing it?

I believe that Shigaraki is going to go now to the hideout of Re-Destro… And Gigan is going to follow him and break havoc there XD.
Gigan is gonna follow him anywhere he tries to escape, and fight destroying everything n the place. That includes the hideout of the enemy XD.

Wouldn’t it be cool that this time Shigaraki loses and has to retreat for a bit, unlike what happened with the yakuza. Tho I always believed if Overhaul ended up fighting Shigaraki himself instead of Deku he would have beaten Shigaraki

I dont find the one shot villain thing to be a problem. The main overarching villains are the league of villains and imo the point of the "one shot villains" is to provide growth to the main cast both on the villain and hero sides. Because of that I dont think its a problem its just the writing style of the series…Plus I think its clear that Stain will come back in some way.

Are the people in the libreration army even villians? Not like they are going around killing innocent people or heroes, they are revolutionaries if you ask me, not villians, as they want to topple a corrupt system, which is obviusly in place.

Is anyone else thinking that there might be some mind control quick that the guy who wrote the book might have. Maybe the books might be a ace in the whole that the CEO has.

Shigaraki Tomura doesn’t stop to disappoint me as the serie goes on. From his motives to his personality, everything is so lame… I like villains like Stain or Overhaul who have a plan, an idealogy and the intelligence to make their dream come true. Overhaul thought his plan through, he was intelligent and careful. It’s a shame they got rid of him that quickly. Good villains only last one arc and then that’s it. Stain and Overhaul was just used as stepping stones for Shigaraki, and it leaves me a bit salty… I hope Redestro won’t end up like this

Seriously, no one notice the similarly between redestro and DESTRO from gi Joe.

    August 2, 2019 @ 3:25 pm

Ok so IMO the reason they kinda HAVE to have one-arch enemies, if the heroes doesn’t win most of the time then it cant really be the era of heroes now could it?
But then again i figured since way back that if the whole hero society get unsteady all previous enemies could appear, like if Redestro could recruit them would he not?

  44. Fabiocean
    August 2, 2019 @ 3:25 pm

My theory on the book sales and the subordinates is that Redestros quirk is probably some kind of mind control, most likely something that triggers when people read his book. So he is pretty sure that all the readers are his subordinates, but the guy he killed didn’t get mind controlled for some reason (probably his own quirk), so he had to get rid of him since he knew everything that stands in the book, but without mind control, he could be dangerous to Redestro, so he had to get rid of him.

  46. FeyPhantom
    August 2, 2019 @ 3:28 pm

I wouldn’t worry too much about never seeing some villains again. I fully expect Stain and Muscular (and possibly Mustard since it seemed like his character had more development to go) to become relevant again in a prison-break arc and I imagine La Brava will become relevant again at some point too since her character has important traits that haven’t been fully explored yet.

Well, when it comes to this specific number, ReDestro’s belief/claim of followers does make sense when coupled together with the bookselling. I mean…it would show more specifically how many people bought a book because the publisher would have the statistics on their page. Yeah, given Shiggy is the main antagonist for Izuku to face, we know HE is not going down. However, members of the League had died before(Magne) so that doesn’t mean that one of the characters won’t meet their end by hands of ReDestro and his people. I must say I kinda dig this dude because he’s going to be an interesting obstacle for Shiggy to tackle. He’s not like Overhaul, where his group was kinda out-dated and washed up. ReDestro is powerful and influential. He is the CEO of a huge company but he also has someone who has a connection to politics and government in his ranks. It’s a tall order for the League, especially in their current state to take on. They have little to no resources or equipment while this guy is the total opposite.
