Jake, you missed the quality of Armin. His quality is not about his dream. Erwin is good at inspiring others and making bold decision but Armin is capable of making SMART decision, thinking outside of the box allowing him to do impossible things such as defeating the Colossus Titan. Even Erwin died we still got the commander Pixes who is also very good at giving speeches and knows how make decisions as a leader. Armin is considered as the smartest person in AoT and there seems to have no one similar to him introduced. So the best choice for humanity is to save Armin because currently there is no replacement for him.

Return to Shiganshina arc of attack on titan is a very powerful arc..there are very few like this in popular series. Pain arc in Naruto, Chimera ant arc in hxh, Water 7 saga of One Piece. Soul Society arc in Bleach are some of my most favourite arc..along with this..in whole anime.

The titan that was “hands in the air like she don’t care” as you said is designed to resemble Mikasa’s voice actress, with the one right next to it designed to resemble Eren’s voice actor, AND the first titan Levi grappled onto last episode is based on the voice actress of Armin

I would definitely disagree with that Erwin got his purpose fulfilled. His dream was a selfish one, HE wanted to be the one to discover the truth. He hasn’t truly been fighting for humanity maybe ever, but in the end he had to give it up, including his life, to get a chance at victory. That’s why Levi said to give up on his dream. Charging at the Beast Titan, Erwin has nothing left but to rage against the world.

The episode ‘That Day’ will give you some really big shocks and plot twists because not only it will tell the truth about the outside world but also it will reveal the identities of the beast titan and the smiling titan that ate Eren’s mom. And man I bet that you can’t even think who they are.
