DISCLAIMER: IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A SERIOUS REVIEW THIS IS NOT ONE I DUNNO HOW TO REVIEW TO SAVE MY LIFE, THESE WERE JUST MY THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS! On the plus side the only good thing that came out of this was the fact that I maybe found a plot hole and feel very accomplished. Death Note is one of my favorite anime’s of all time so my reaction to this was pretty much inevitable . I’m just a black dude that really like this anime and in 2017 we finally saw it become a live action something I wish would of never happened.

The whole story and philosophy of Death Note reminds me of the stories and philosophies of Green Goblin and Cat in the Hat combined. As for Green Goblin (aka Norman Osborn), it’s about a guy who always strives for success in his own way, and then fails, and ultimately becomes bitter about it afterwards, causing mayhem; it’s ultimately about father issues from his son Harry Osborn’s point of view. As for the Cat in the Hat, it’s about being a young person looking out the window and feeling depressed at what you see in the world outside your window, until a stranger gives you something you feel may be worth doing, even though it’s troublesome and maybe even dangerous, and your conscience (the fish) is telling you to get it out of your house before you get into trouble, and the Cat caused a lot of mess in the house, but in the end the Cat cleans up after himself, nevertheless when your mother comes home you need to answer to her, therefore it could also be about mother issues as well. There was a Dr. Seuss crossover animated movie called The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat, and the Grinch for me somewhat bears a resemblance to the Green Goblin and/or vice-versa. Light Yagami was one such a person as described regarding the Goblin and the Cat, he led his father to his own death lying to him in the end, and now all that’s left is his mother to bear all the guilt of her son who turned out to be a mass murderer who supposedly wanted to change the world causing mayhem, but in the end his mess had to be cleaned up. What do you guys think?
