   The title is wrong but idk if you knew. Deku didnt come up with an ultimate move. He came up with a Fighting Style. Shoot Style is the name of that, he even said he cant come up eithe move without coming up witha fighting style first

    For me, the symbolism of All Might’s shadow splitting into Deku and Bakugou– they’re both halves of a whole that way. They’re both gunning for the top with different approaches, its been brought up time and time again. Their scores on the entrance exams (Rescue vs Combat), the way they wanted to handle their exam against All Might (Fight vs Flight). Bakugou’s practically the second protagonist, he’s just not all wrapped up in this wholesome sweetheart package most shounen anime protags get so he gets written off as destined to turn. Meanwhile we all gone get our feelings hurt because there’s still a traitor idea lurking about and its gonna end up being one of these ‘nice’ motherfuckers no one was even looking at.

    If you guys look really closely, Tsuyu (Frog Girl) is concentrating really hard on camouflaging. She starts fading to the color of the background before the camera cuts from her, but it’s super slight. I had to watch it two times lol

    Quick thing – it’s actually Full Cowl, not Cowling.

    It started as a mistranslation by Viz translator Caleb Cook, and spread like wildfire, even to official merch. They fixed it on the last anime episode, but for some reason they went back to the mistranslation on this one.

    I know it’s a minor thing to some people, but it’s Deku’s main thing, and it’s a *pure* mistranslation (the author even spelled the word out in English in one volume, but people still use Cowling because Cook started the precedent). Every time I see it, I try to get the reality of it out there. It’s Cowl, not Cowling.
